You can buy one already. You can usually start using them at 12 weeks. I bought one and heard my daughters heart beat at 10 weeks.

You might have a hard time finding it at first…it took me a few days to finally get it. Use lot’s of gel, I bought a huge bottle of Aloe Vera gel…it must have been good for my belly skin too because I didn’t get 1 stretch mark where I would put the Aloe Vera….wish I would have put it up higher near my abs! :)

This is the one I got and I loved it, it was only $115 too! http://www.healthchecksystems.com/babybeat.htm

      Congrats on your pregnancy!

I believe you can hear the babys heart beat around 10 weeks. Good luck!

You should probably be able to hear the baby now at home (with a monitor of course).

I just ordered mine today from Baby Beat. They’re expensive to buy, but you can rent them instead. I’m renting one that I can record with for $32/month. I’m only going to keep mine for a month or two. I’m almost 9 weeks pregnant.

I have one it works great. I’m 9 weeks right now. I’ve heard that the $20 ones are no good. Mine was right in the middle $125. It’s really cool to be able to listen to your baby right before bed or anytime you want really!

Buy a stethoscope, cheaper and is just as much fun!

The ones you buy for at home use are usually only going to work in the 3rd trimester… the ones at the doctor’s office are more sensitive. A lot of people complain that they can’t hear anything though.
