What does it mean if your heart rate drops during exercise instead of rising?

I was at a friend’s last night and I tried out their exercise machine. It has a pulse monitor and before exercising my pulse was 76. I exercised pretty hard for a while and while still exercising it went down to 66 and stayed there untill I stopped. After stopping it went back up to 76-78.
I am 20, BMI of 19.5 and have a very physically demanding job which keeps me pretty toned and fit. But I have low blood pressure which makes me pass out at times.
So any ideas why m heart rate dropped?

Bump up your BMI, that’s the lower limit you’re on. See your doctor for a check up. There may be an electrolyte imbalance and basically your body can’t take the pounding you’re giving it. Are you super stressed? When are you taking a break in the hills?

That is innacurate. It means that you are not working out very hard, as in your heart is not beating a lot.

That monitor is innacurate. My bro is a semi pro cyclist and tehy use accurate monitors worth a few hundred dollars. When working pretty hard, your heart rate is between 165-190 usually. To work out your max get 240 and minus your age. I have a rowing machine, and trust me its heart rate monitor is innacurate. Cheapos that come with machines are really innacurate. When you are resting it is about 60 or 70. But the fitter you are the lower it will be because your heart is much stronger and does not need to do many pumps to pump around your blood.
