Should I Fire my doctors?

Me and my hubby are ttc , but my doctor keeps stalling us .. I have been in and out of cardiologist offices, about three months ago I went to get my normal annual check up, they were taking my pulse and the nurse tells me I have an irregular pulse rate… Freaked me out… So I was sent for an emergency EKG, the results came back a week later saying that abnormalities were spotted. So they hooked me up with a holter monitor for 48 hours, well I guess that came out bad too because last week I was sent for another EKG, Echo Stress Test . I have an appointment for a very invasive procedure… These people want to put s catheter through my groin area all the way to the heart… I was not told of this procedure until I got a call from cardiology rescheduling my appoinment I was shocked due to the fact no one called me and told me I had this crap to be done .. I feel like as the patient I should be aware of what their plans are… They’re always saying it’s a simple procedure( after I drove to the hospital to get the next appointment date) i always think of course it’s simple for you , your not the one they’re talking about causing a heart attack on purpose… My question is should I have this procedure when their not even sure what’s wrong with my heart? I’m 25, their youngest cardiologist patient .. My dactor keeps telling me to wait until they get to the bottom of my heart problem… I refuse to wait, I’m still ttc, my husband is scared, I’m not… I feel like they are stalling for some reason… I was thinking about changing doctors but these people are supposed to be the best… I feel I can still do whatever heart test they want while at the same time have a baby…. Do you think I’m paranoid?

What's wrong with my blood pressure?

I went to the doctors a year ago for an unrelated issue and after an exam he said I had high blood pressure and I had to monitor it. It was 140/90.

I’m 19 5"8 and 125 lbs. He then said to come back and test it again. It was low. :| then he brushed it off as anxiety.

Now everytime I go to the drugstore my blood pressure is always high so is my pulse rate but when I check it at home its low… 117/70 ish and my pulse is around the 60 mark.

My dentist even said my blood pressure was too high tho to do any dental work. He said I had to go to the doctors before I came back. My doctor then said the same thing as before it got high again and then got low…

What’s wrong with me? How can my blood pressure change so much?
    Go from 140/90 to 110/60 … in a matter of minutes…

I do suffer from panic attacks and find it hard to go out in public sometimes…would that make the difference?
AND Everytime its high it’s either at the store or at the doctors…never at home.
Maybe the monitor I have is bad?
My doctor scares me a lot. Said he wanted to do an ultrasound on my kidneys because it was so high. Then said how I could be having heart problems etc…really didn’t help my anxiety issues.

My heart rate just reached 215 bpm for a second. Is this bad?

I’m wearing a month long heart monitor. It shows my pulse rate on it. The pulse is changing constantly. They told me this was normal because it changes when you breathe. However mine is changing drastically and a lot. It goes from 81 to 113 back to 91 to 78 in a matter of a few seconds each. Does this sound like a malfunction with the monitor or does it sound like it could be my heart? For a second it read 215. Is this bad?

Also I keep experiencing an achy type of pain in the left side of my chest. It comes and goes but never seems to last more than a few seconds. It can be quite painful though. how do I know if this is my heart? Please help cause Im’ getting very anxious now.

        THanks.

Should I continue on my heart medications?

Two years ago I had a heart attack after mountain climbing. . I felt weak and broke out in sweat. I was advised to see a Dr. A 10 mm clot had lodged in my chest and was removed. The Dr. put in a stint and put me on Zocor, Plavix, Tenormin and Prinivil.
Through an odd set of circumstances I was separated from my cardio medications and cell phone before getting snowed in for a week. I did however have my blood pressure monitor. For the first three days I watched as my blood pressure was going through the roof. It peaked at 215/97 with a pulse rate of 74.
To my amazement it then started dropping over the next four days and it and is now reading 132/72 with a pulse rate of 62. I am back home now but wondering why I would want to go back on these medications? I actually feel better now then when I was taking them. Before my attack my blood pressure was always 110-120/70-75 with a pulse rate around 65-70. I am tempted to stay off the meds for a few more days to see where it levels out. If it helps, when they did the surgery, the exam showed "light platelet build up" on my heart valves.

                ECG results please explain?

I understand that Mr SUPERSTARDJ01 attended for an ambulatory blood pressure monitor on 7 August 2009. His clinic blood pressure reading was 141/83, pulse rate 39 beats per minute. The ECG showed bradycardia at the rate of 40 beats per minute likely to be junctional rhythm as no P waves were seen on the trace. We have attempted fitting him with an ambulatory blood pressure monitor but the monitor was unable to take his readings in view of the significant bradycardia. I trust that we need to investigate Mr SUPERSTARDJ01’s cardiac rhythm as he may have higher degree heart block and may require cardiac pacing. It is possible that his blood pressure readings may be high due to the bradycardia causing larger stroke volume. We will attempt to make contact with him in the near future for the monitor but he should report any occurrence of dizziness, faints or blackouts. Thank you for your referral.

I am felling hot/hot flushes, getting palpitations and having difficulties breathing so the doc has given me an inhaler for now while I wait for the results of the mobile ECG.

                Additional Details
Further to my recent letter regarding Mr SUPERSTARDJ01. He has now had a 24-hour ECG that was done on 17 August 2009. It showed extreme bradycardia with a mean heart rate of 38 beats per minute, maximum heart rate 85 beats per minute around 6:35 a.m., minimum heart rate 28 beats per minute around 8:50 p.m. The trace shows extreme bradycardia with probably no atrial activity seen, probable atrial standstill with junctional rhythm or complete heart block. The heart accelerated to 85 beats per minute only briefly around 6 a.m. We have not detected atrial fibrillation or wide complex tachycardia. The accompanying diary reports occurrence of palpitations, the feeling of missed beats, hot flushing and occasional shortness of breath. This extreme bradycardia may explain raised blood pressure readings in view of the probable increased pulse pressure that is caused by the bradycardia. The maximum heart rate occurred at around 6 a.m., the accompanying diary reports lifting a freezer through the house at that time. The heart does not appear to accelerate during other activities. I will organise to review Mr SUPERSTARDJ01 clinically, discussed the result with him as he may require organising permanent pacemaker insertion

                  High blood pressure confusion?

I went to get a screening, and my blood pressure was 160/111, and pulse rate was 111.. I checked it at walmart, cvs etc, and my blood pressure was 137/94 pulse rate 111.. Again not so different.. Last night, I checked my blood pressure with the new blood pressure monitor I just bought, and it was 140/107 pulse rate 104… Now, this morning around 10:15 AM, I checked it and it was 137/98 and pulse rate was 98 with my right hand. And when I checked it again (this time with my left hand), and take a deep breath and stay calmed and watched television. My blood pressure was 124/89 and pulse rate 84.. This time, I checked it two times, and it came almost the same results.. Why is my blood pressure suddenly drop so low after taking a deep breath and breathe in and out while taking my pressure and staring at the TV?

Should I be worried? Is this normal? They said I should go to the doctor, but I feel fine. I know it’s not smart, but I can’t afford the doctor right now. Any ideas?
I think my blood pressure gets really high throughout the day..

While wearing an electronic heart monitor, you sprint around a circular track at a speed of 10 m/s. You observe a pulse rate of 100 beats/min but your coach, resting at the centre of the stadium, records a different rate. What is the difference?
