Can someone please provide a link or info to a heart rate monitor watch that calculates steps, calories and heart rate with entering in your height and weight? I have a Sportline watch that I bought at Walmart for 0 that doesnt require me entering in my height and weight and I am a little uncertain about the accuracy of the calories burned reading. It uses pulse technology.

I went to get a screening, and my blood pressure was 160/111, and pulse rate was 111.. I checked it at walmart, cvs etc, and my blood pressure was 137/94 pulse rate 111.. Again not so different.. Last night, I checked my blood pressure with the new blood pressure monitor I just bought, and it was 140/107 pulse rate 104… Now, this morning around 10:15 AM, I checked it and it was 137/98 and pulse rate was 98 with my right hand. And when I checked it again (this time with my left hand), and take a deep breath and stay calmed and watched television. My blood pressure was 124/89 and pulse rate 84.. This time, I checked it two times, and it came almost the same results.. Why is my blood pressure suddenly drop so low after taking a deep breath and breathe in and out while taking my pressure and staring at the TV?

Should I be worried? Is this normal? They said I should go to the doctor, but I feel fine. I know it’s not smart, but I can’t afford the doctor right now. Any ideas?
I think my blood pressure gets really high throughout the day..

Has anyone had any good experience with those fetal heart monitors? We were thinking of getting one because my son wants to hear the heart beat and it’s not so easy to take him to the doctors office with me (I hate pulling him out of school early). They have them at walmart they are like 20.00, I figured I would do a little research on them and it’s not like I can’t return it if it’s no good. I think I read on them that they can pick up in the 3rd trimester which I am at (30 weeks). So just wondering are they worth it?

I’m a 29 year old female, I dont smoke, I dont drink, and I exercise for half an hour every day. I’m non-vegetarian, but I limit myself to eating meat (usually chicken or lean beef) only once or at the most twice a week. I was down with allergies early this week and I took Claritin, which made me feel even worse. When the doctor checked my blood pressure, it was at 140/80, and my pulse was 110 so she switched me to Zyrtec and told me to monitor my bp and pulse. Zyrtec made me feel equally bad and so I stopped taking all medications alltogether. Now my allergies are gone, and I’ve been measuring myself at the instrument in walmart and my bp is down to 122/76 but my pulse is still high at 102. I hate going to doctors…they scare the daylights out of me…and I’m scared. What on earth is going on with me? Why is my pulse so high? And is my blood pressure normal?

PS. Both my grandmother and mother have high blood pressure. Just thought I’d mention this. Dont know if it matters.

I thought I had a cold about 10 days ago because I was really congested so took Sudafed. It didnt help, and then my eyes started itching so I figured it was allergies and took Claritin. Then switched over to Zyrtec. I stopped taking all antihistamines and cold medications on Wednesday (took the last one on Thursday then stopped). The 122/76 and 102 pulse is as of today.

Unfortunately, I dont know if my pulse has always been high. I never measured it before. So I dont know if it has changed or always been high. Is a high pulse fairly common?
Eroylowe, what did you mean by the readings are not "true". Please clarify.
Thursday. I mistyped. I meant Thursday is when I took the last of any medications and then stopped.

Also, I have been under a LOT of stress lately.

I would love to be able to have a fetal heart monitor to hear my baby’s heart beat whenever I wanted to…. but i would like one that is like the type they have at the doctors office… not the cheapie at walmart because i have heard mostly bad things about them and they are a waste of money.

Where can i rent/buy one for a good price? Im trying to keep it 0 or less. Oh, and i’ve already peeked at Ebay but i’m hoping i can find somewhere else to get it from.

I am looking to buy an enexpensive fetal heart monitor that actually works like the ones at the doctors office.I have a BE’BE’ Sounds one that we bought from walmart with my first child but it doesn’t work that great and you can’t actually hear the heartbeat clearly.I looked on ebay and they had some good ones but I just don’t know about ebay??

Are there any medical stores that sell them directly or do I have to get them online?
please don’t suggest the ones at the stores like baby r us and walmart because i have purchased one and it has not worked till today and many people have reported the same thing.
